Rick M. Podgorny, Tax Accountant

Rick Podgorny has worked in the tax and accounting industry for over 25 years in private industry as a Controller and Assistant Controller having the responsibilities of Financial reporting & Tax preparation. Born and raised in the competitive environment of Chicago, he brings a keen understanding of your “bottom line” to the table. His experience with expertise has been in numerous industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, professional services and other fields. Rick has grown and developed his own practice preparing all types of tax returns, providing monthly bookkeeping and payroll services, as well business consulting. He has successfully passed the IRS Registered Tax Return Preparers exam and has met the annual IRS continuing education requirements.

Rick graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Accounting. He attended graduate school at DePaul University and has completed the required continued education courses in Taxation and Accounting. He is a member of the National Society of Accountants and the National Society of Tax Professionals.
